My system is running RHEL5. As Compiz fusion packages are not officially available for RHEL system I'd like to know how to compile the packages from source code. One can download the Source code from http://linux.softpedia.com/progDownload/Compiz-Download-29715.html. BTW Compiz on Linux puts Windows Aero to shame.

I am trying to rewrite a suse domino init.d script and it is calling rc_status a lot which is not something I am familiar with on a RHEL 4 system. If I knew what this did, I would be able to rewrite this script.

I am one of the many who had the bitter experience with the windows 7 (64bit 7600 build). I was very happy with the older RHEL. My son tried the third rated Gates OS in my personal system and screwed all the data. Is there any way to recover them?

i used utorrent with windows and then used k torrent in linux. but compared to utorrent, k torrent is much slow (disabled firewall)
